Scope

Design South Professionals designed a 6,500 square foot new construction office building for Santee Electric Cooperative, to be located on their current property. The exterior of this wood framed building is comprised of a wood beam entry, brick and stone masonry and masonite siding.  Inside the building, the client will experience a larger lobby with access to a public restroom, a multiple lane drive-thru adjacent to the interior teller’s station, offices, a conference room, storage, restrooms, and showers.  The project scope was not limited to architecture alone, but incorporated multiple aspects of interior design including finishes, furniture selections, and painting locations.  As to not interrupt business, DSPI created a new flow of traffic and developed a schedule that would allow demolition of the current building to take place once Santee Electric Cooperative relocates to the new building.
