In an effort to better serve the Tri-County area, the College has embarked upon a program of satellite campuses in the larger population centers of their service area. The Anderson Campus was the first of this effort. In order to alleviate traffic congestion and improve safety on Michelin Boulevard at the Anderson Campus entrance, the College received a congressional “earmark” to fund the widening of Michelin Boulevard. The project consists of the addition of turning lanes to Michelin Boulevard to aid in the entrance and exit from the Anderson Campus of Tri-County Technical College. Sidewalk will be added to the east side of Michelin Boulevard from the southern entrance of the College to Standridge Road. The south entrance will receive a flashing traffic signal. All related site work, pavement markings, storm drainage piping, catch basins, curbing, erosion control, grassing, and any other activities incidental to the completion of this project are also included.
